Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Partnering with FCA to lead coaches and athletes into deeper faith

Rooted in Faith, United in Purpose: FCA at Work in Our Schools
At the heart of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is a simple mission: to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. FCA is non-denominational and active in our local middle and high schools through weekly huddles—gatherings where students come together for encouragement, faith-building, and community.
In addition to school-based groups, FCA hosts powerful community events like Fields of Faith, where young people gather to worship, pray, and share testimonies under the open sky.
Here at Noel UMC, we believe in this mission. That’s why we partner with FCA to support students and coaches through prayer, volunteering, and financial gifts. Whether it’s offering a space for a team breakfast, speaking at a huddle, or simply encouraging a young athlete, there’s a place for everyone to get involved.
FCA continues to be a way for youth to encounter Jesus in a real and lasting way—and to grow God’s kingdom, one relationship at a time.

Our Approach
Building Discipleship Through Teams, Trust, and the Gospel
FCA’s approach is rooted in intentional relationships, Christ-centered leadership, and consistent presence in the lives of students and coaches. Our mission and vision guide everything we do—from early morning huddles to large-scale community events. We believe that when a coach or athlete encounters the love of Jesus, it changes not only their life, but the lives of those around them. Through FCA, young people are equipped to live boldly for Christ, becoming leaders in their schools, on their teams, and in their communities. This is how God’s Kingdom grows—one relationship, one team, one transformed life at a time.
— Mission
To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
— Vision
To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
— impact
FCA is more than a student club—it’s a movement of young people discovering their identity in Christ and sharing that hope with others. Through school huddles, community events, and intentional relationships, FCA equips students to live out their faith boldly.
Coaches and athletes become spiritual leaders, not just in competition, but in classrooms, locker rooms, and beyond. As they grow in their relationship with Jesus, they influence their peers, schools, and families—multiplying the reach of God’s Kingdom through everyday moments.
