Just Here

Today’s Reflection

Lord, help me wrestle with this sluggish depression.
Sweep away my gloomy spirit.
Change the way I see life.
Let me find the tiny ray of sunlight that pierces the
Darkest clouds.

Today’s Question

Can you see a tiny ray of sunlight today? Hold on to it. Join the conversation.

Today’s Scripture

My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God?

—Psalm 42:2 (NRSVUE)

Prayer for the Week

God, we have always been dependent on you for every step and every breath. You have never left us, even as we age and wear these bodies out. As we rely more and more on others, remind us to rely on you the most. Amen.
Submit your prayer to The Upper Room.
